I’m thankful for the reprieve from training with the werewolves for the rest of the week as I don’t think I can be around Damian right now. Although he’d saved me from breaking my back or worse, I still can’t shake the feelings that nearly overwhelmed me when I fell into his arms. They haunt me, especially early in the morning before dawn comes and I go to sleep. I can’t stop from peering out the window and to the woods, hoping to see a pair of glowing gold eyes staring out at me.

It’s not good to be thinking about a werewolf like this. It’s not normal. It’s not welcome.

If anyone knew, I’m sure I’d be called to the headmaster’s office to be chastised or worse.
